Tullymore Alternative Education Provision is situated in a designated area of social deprivation with a substantial amount of young people failing to achieve 5 GCSE’s on leaving school.
The programme offers a variety of educational qualifications and programmes in the Tullymore Community Centre designed to build the confidence of the young people and to enable them to re engage with mainstream education system. Young people are equipped with work related skills that will improve their employability and diminish the prospect of becoming long term unemployed.
The programme offers a supportive educational environment for young people who are having difficulties at school. It is designed to help the young people set realistic and achievable educational goals and to prevent them leaving the mainstream educational system without any qualifications.
